Tina Meier, mother of 'From Under The Bridge' inspiration - Megan Meier, flew in to attend the Awareness Film Festival screening at the Regal Cinema LA Live in Los Angeles on October 23rd. A week later, the film won the Grand Jury Award for 'Best Short Film'. We all adore and admire Tina, who has been a magnificent supporter of the film and friend to members of the cast and crew, so winning the highest possible award for both her and Megan was truly incredible. Tina had not seen the completed film, let alone on the big screen, so we would like to sincerely thank the wonderful team at the Awareness Film Festival for screening the film. And of course, we must also thank the members of the grand jury for the sensational award. We are honored and eternally grateful for the recognition. This one's for Megan.
